Description of the project
Egebakkeskolen is a private independent school with government subsidy, and its pupils are between 6 and 16 years of age, from pre-school to 9th grade. The school puts an emphasis on foreign language acquisition, so the pupils start learning English in the 1st form and German in the 5th. At the moment, there are around 284 pupils, with a fairly equal balance between girls and boys.
The school is located in Brabrand, a suburb of Aarhus, which is the second biggest city in Denmark with approx. 300.000 inhabitants. Aarhus is located on the east coast of Jutland, and any other part of the country is within easy reach by public transport.
