It is a self-funding and non-profit Wildlife Care & Guest programme situated 20km from Bela Bela [Warmbaths] in the malaria-free Bushveld  of Limpopo, South Africa's northernmost province. The project raises orphaned and injured  African animals to be rehabilitated back into the wild and are also working on being officially recognized as a vervet Monkey Sanctuary. Together with a commited work force and international volunteers they work together with nature conservation towards the survival of African Wildlife.

Birdwatchers will be able to see many different species such as Verraux Eagle, Kingfishers, Hornbills, Kites, Fisheagle, Paradise Flycatcher, Spotted Eagle Owls, Burchells Coucal, Weaver's, Sunbird [4 different species], African Drake etc. Over a 100 different species has been recorded here at Bambelela with its stream Groot Nylsoog River and Vlei.

The unspoiled bushveld offers a variety of fauna and flora. Antelopes such as Kudu, Bushbuck, Duiker, Klipspringer, Mountain Reedbuck, Nyalas, Common Reedbuck, Red Hartebeest, Eland, Steenbok and more. Zebra, Porcupine, Bushpigs, Serval Cat, Warthogs, Civet, Mongooses, Lesser Bushbaby, Baboons and Vervet Monkeys and so much more can be seen here.

The climate is dry and comfortable. The summer months [September to April] are very warm. The average rainfalls is +/- 550mm/year. The rainy season is in summer.

Bela Bela [Warmbaths] is known as the "Sunshine Town" and locally very popular in the winter months, May to August, because of its mild winters.
